Tan Nhan was born in 1982 in Ha Nam, is currently Doctor of Music, Vice Dean of Vocal Music Department of Vietnam National Music Academy. Tan Nhan matured from Sao Mai 2005 competition with a double of the first prize in folk style and the audience award. With a smooth, sweet voice with a sophisticated distinctive nuance and the constant efforts to improve the profession, Tan Nhan quickly rose to become the leading voice in the folk music genre in Vietnam. Her albums " Yếm đào xuống phố " (The beauty down on the street), "Níu dải lụa đào" (Grifting the peachy silk) inspired the young artists and audience to love traditional music. Tan Nhan is still continuing to pursue this path with desire to preserve and promote the value of traditional Vietnamese music. In 2020, Tan Nhan won the 15th "Cống hiến" (Dedication) award with the category "Program of the year" for the first live show in her career "Trở về" (Back). She also won a nomination for this award for the album “Yếm đào xuống phố”.
